We invite children aged 6-12 to unlock the enchanted gates of the "Chess Kingdom" and step into a world of strategy and adventure!
During this magical event, you'll discover how each chess piece comes to life on the board, learn why the king must stay safe within his castle, and uncover the secrets of the all-powerful queen—the most valuable piece in the game.
With the expert guidance of Olena, a masterful chess coach, you’ll learn the essential rules of how to play chess and gain the skills to outwit your opponent in no time. Prepare to embark on a fun-filled one hour journey where every move holds the key to victory!

Olena Kucherenko is a skilled Chess coach and a titled WCM chess player with over 5 years of experience in bringing the magic of chess to life. She guides both kids and adults on their journey through the Chess Kingdom, offering lessons both online and in person at the Earl Bales Community Center, where strategy and adventure await at every move!

Please note that all our facilitators carefully prepare in advance for each event, whether it’s gathering materials, setting up special activities, or creating a memorable experience. For this reason, once purchased, tickets are non-refundable.
If your plans change, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to a friend up to 24 hours before the event. Just call us at (647) 341-0394 or send an email to oracle@curiosasociety.com with the new participant’s name, phone number, and email address, and we’ll take care of the rest.
