This print features artwork created for the cover of the first edition of Newt Scamander’s well-known book "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them". The design for this book cover takes inspiration from the beasts that feature within its text.

In 1918, Augustus Worme of Obscurus Books commissioned Newt to write the first edition of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". As a lowly Ministry employee earning only two Sickles a week at the time, Newt jumped at the chance for extra money and the opportunity to spend his summers travelling the world. It was eventually published in 1927 after many (mis)adventures on Newt's part. It then went on to become a standard textbook at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and, by the mid-1990s, was in its fifty-second edition.

Printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper, the "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" Book Cover is a standard print limited to 1000 copies worldwide. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is numbered, embossed, and signature-stamped.
